Setting Description

LI: to investigate figurative language
Mr Ogilvies Writing groups have been learning figurative language to help their descriptions more descriptive. Figurative language is saying something to someone but not directly meaning it. Last week they tried to describing a character with different types of figurative language. Simile, Metaphor, Personification, and Hyperbole. This week they described a setting using figurative language. They used the five senses: See, Smell, Taste, Sound, and Feel. We used those to help us describe the settings.
