Paper Plane Measurements

LI: to use statistical and scientific methods to study the effect of wing span and area on lift
This week Mr Wongs Math Groups tried different model planes and tested their studied the effect of the wingspan and area on lift. There were different plane designs like Zip Flip, Sonice Star, Fire Dart and heaps more. Then there were three main plane models. Which were Glider, Dart, and Stunt. They threw their paper planes ten times. They then had to find the average by adding all the measurements up and dividing it by ten. They then made a graph with a trend-line to see if the wingspan effected the distance flown by the plane.
