Manaiakalani Film Festival

Room 9 from Panmure Bridge contributes the short film Lost in Time to the Manaiakalani Film Festival. Room 9 students' roles were writers, actors, and filming assistants. Writing and storyboarding were difficult. Filming was difficult when our green screen got broken, and we had to use a blue cloth in place of our proper green screen.

    amazing movie! Your movie made the crowd burst out laughing at moments and that was a straight away sign that people were enjoying your film, and so did I! I love the part where the group is running and the person at the back is exhausted. It's very effective, funny, dramatic, and funny!! I'm sure your next film will bring the same laughter and joy or more so. Can't wait for more brilliant work! Keep it up :)

    That mummy at the end gets me every time!!! Loved the anticipation built up throughout the movie - will they get back to Panmure Bridge? Will they escape the sand storm? Such an exciting film. You must have a really cool teacher!

    I really like your movie Lost in time. I like how they are teleported to Egypt, one of my favorite countries. I like Egypt because of all the mysteries they have just waiting to be explored. Your movie also gave me a little fright at the end. Didn't know a mummie appeared out of nowhere. Great job Room 9.
