Today room 9 went to run jump throw our kiwi sport for our fourth session. For our warm up game we played octopus. We played two games. On the second game I managed to tie first with Tiava and Mishaan. After that we practised our high jump on the court. We were practising the scissor kick. When our teacher for run jump throw thought we were ready we started to jump over the poles. There were two sets of poles. One set was for jumping with your right foot and the other one for your left foot. Jumping on my right foot first was easier than jumping with my left foot first. She then let us choose how high we wanted to jump.Me, Ofa and Tiava tried jumping from the highest point. Some people got three or two turns to jump but other people like me only got two turns.

Heart Foundation and healthy lunches
Today Rooms 5, 6, and 9 made wraps as a conclusion to the Heart Foundation's lessons on how to read food labels and learning what levels of energy, fat, sugar, dietary fibre, and sodium are healthy.
After preparation, students made their own wraps. Available ingredients were lettuce, tomato, carrot, shredded chicken, and tuna to name a few. Tortillas and wholewheat wraps were used to wrap up the ingredients and make a tasty lunch for today.
Room 9 especially needed the extra lunch today because we ended up having two sessions of Kiwisport!

Run Jump Throw/ Kiwisport
Today Room 9 went to our session of Run Jump Throw. That is our Kiwisport for now. Today we practiced our jumps and long jump. For our warm up game we played stuck in the mud. For stuck in the mud we had to walk for our first round, for the second round we had to jump and for the last round we had to skip. After stuck in the mud we started to practiced our long jump. The four main steps for long jump are bend your knees, swinging arms, look up and land on two feet. After we did that we played a game of Rock Paper Scissors. We had to jump on the pads and when the two people are on one pad next to each other they have a round of Rock Paper Scissors. The winner carries on jumping to the other pads and the loser goes to the back of their team line. At the end my team maneged to win.
